Martor 101806 Maxisafe Retractable Safety Knife with 3-sided slider.  Maxisafe is a member of the Martor Smart Knives family of safety cutters.  Martor's Smart Knives feature a spring auto-retract mechanism that cannot be overridden.  The blade on these cutters retracts safely into the handle as soon as contact is lost with the material being cut or the cut is completed, even if the user keeps the slide pushed forward.  Keeping the slider in the forward position is not necessary to perform the cut, nor will it override the safety feature.  Under normal use, the blade will always retract keeping the user's hands free from accidental cuts.  Comes with top and 2 sided slider for convenience.  An ergonomically designed cutter with durable polycarbonate handle for user comfort and reduces hand and wrist fatigue.  Excellent tool for general purpose cutting tasks.  The Maxisafe has enough blade extension to cut triple-walled corrugated board boxes.  Maxisafe adapts to the type of cut required at the time, be it sideways, horizontal or straight from up top".  Designed for a minimun of effort at a maximum of efficiency.  Ergonomically styled handle with metal wear-protection at the blade outler.  Great for right or left handers.  These knives incorporate an incredibly easy and safe blade changing system with no tools required.  Comes with 60099 trapezoid, deep edged, BLUNT TIP blade installed.       "
