FallTech 82709SA3 DuraTech Max 9 Foot Self Retracting Web Lifeline with swivel eye and steel rebar hook. Class B retractable limits average fall arrest forces to 1,125 lbs with maximum fall arrest distance of 54 inches when anchored up to 5 feet below back D-ring. When anchored above back D-ring arrest distance is limited to 26 inches. Internal locking pawls lock up quickly within inches in event of a fall. Compact and impact resistant nylon housing protects internal components. The 9 feet of webbing is made of high strength, extremely durable Dyneema fiber. Webbing is abrasion, moisture, UV and chemical resistant. Alloy swivel eye prevents webbing from twisting. Rated for combined weight of 310 lbs. The polyester integral shock absorber reduces fall arrest forces and provides a visual fall indication. External shock pack has a protective cover with velcro for ease of inspection. Steel rebar hook for use with larger anchor points. Primary benefit of the DuraTech Max SRL is that it reduces the users minimum fall clearance required. If the SRL is anchored directly overhead with no swing fall the minimum required fall clearance from work surface to nearest lower level or obstruction is 5 feet. The same scenario using a 6 foot shock absorbing lanyard would require a fall clearance of 18-1/2 feet from anchor height to next lower level.
