1/4 inch lap (repair) link.  Designed to provide temporary repair of proof coil chain or for other non-critical chain assemblies.  Working load limit of the lowest rated component determines the working load limit of the entire assembly.  Not approved for overhead lifting.  Chain link is inserted and then hammer open ends of lap link together to provide proper connection.
