3M DBI/SALA Advanced Counter-Weight Horizontal Rail System designed to provide fall protection while working on top of rail cars.  The system is constructed of lightweight powder coated aluminum and zinc plated steel.  Concrete block material acts as a counter-weight eliminating the need for permanent lifeline gallow uprights anchored to concrete footings.  The horizontal rail system provides a mobile anchor point reducing the possibility of swing fall hazards.  In case of a fall, this rigid rail system does not deflect as is the case with a horizontal lifeline cable system.  Each system comes standard with a single track rail and two individual man-rated trolleys for anchorage of a self retracting lifeline.  An optional double track is available for improved worker mobility along the length of the entire rail.
