Column Climber CCOX-13 Combo fall protection system for use when climbing and working off of steel columns. System provides fall protection while easily climbing up or down steel columns. Once you have reached your work area, the Column Climber provides a personal work platform. Provides 100% tie-off while limiting fall arrest to 2 feet or less. The Combo system is made up on one CC13 Column Climber, one CCW1 Column Claw and one TL-11 T-lanyard. System provides a work platform allowing a steel worker to stand upright leaving both hands free to connect, bolt-up, weld or inspect increasing safety and productivity. The Column Climber increases productivity and lowers cost while reducing the need for expensive aerial lifts. Eliminate unsteady ladder use and reduces fatigue from standing on narrow ladder rungs. Has a user capacity of 250 lbs lb plus tools. The Column Climber's foot frame is made from 514 Grade B high strength alloy steel plate. The Column Climber's frame has an EVA compound, oil resistant, non-slip self cleaning sole provides sure footed movement. 1-3/4 inch nylon webbing straps with quick release buckles and wrap around heel bar for quick and easy donning. The inclined jaw design provides vise-like lock and release action making ascending or descending a column as easy as climbing stairs. HHA armor plate steel nosing provides quick adjustment of Column Climber to accommodate flange thickness from 1" to 1-7/8". The Column Claw is for use with up to 14 inch wide and 1-7/8 inch thick flanges. The Column Claw easily adjusts and clamps to column flange. It slides easily with the user as they ascend or descend a column. In event of a fall, the Claw locks onto the flange limiting fall to less than 2 feet. The T-lanyard connects the Column Claw to the users harness side (positioning) D-rings.
