Guardian 10974 3 Way Retrieval Device with 50 feet of galvanized cable.  For use with 7 foot tripod.  Designed for use in vertical entry confined spaces.  Provides fall protection in the entry mode and winch raising and lowering capabilities in the rescue mode.  Provides fall arrest when using a ladder as your primary means of entry into the confined space.  If the entrant falls, the centrifugal brake engages limiting the free fall distance to two feet or less.  In event of an emergency, the attendant can put the retrieval device into the rescue mode and raise the entrant out of the confined space.  If for any reason the entrant becomes wedged while retrieval is in progress, the attendant can lower the entrant a few feet and then continue raising him upward.
